If not, we have more options for tests that need to be sent out.  The doctors at Acre View read urinalysis results, direct fecal smears, fecal flotation tests, and screen, if not diagnose fine needle aspirates and tissue impression smears. Patient-side tests are done in-house for heartworm disease in both cats and dogs, Parvo virus, Giardia, Feline Leukemia, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis (tick-born disease), Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (kitty aids), pregnancy testing, Prolactin levels for timed pregnancies and breeding, glucometer for diagnosing isulinomas and diabetes mellitus and dermatophyte test medium to diagnose ringworm. All of this equipment is available to provide a faster diagnosis to treat your pet more efficiently.
