AVPH Policies

Vaccination Policy - For the heath and safety of all our guests, patients and staff, all pets must be fully vaccinated in order to be groomed or boarded at Acre View. This includes DHLPPC, Bordetella and Rabies for dogs, and FVRCP/FELV and Rabies for cats. This is true for all pets unless special exceptions have been made by a veterinarian. 

Emergencies and Walk-ins - Walk-ins are welcome but will be seen after scheduled appointments.  Emergencies will have first priority and will be seen immediately.

Contagious Disease - For the safety of our other patients, if you think your pet has a contagious disease, please contact our front staff, let them know when you get here, and remain in your car with your pet until we get an exam room open.

Payment Policy - Payment is due in full at time of service unless other arrangements are made with the hospital manager in advance. Acre View accepts checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.  We also offer Care Credit and you can apply online or right here in our office and know if you have been accepted within 15 minutes. We will accept held checks, which can be written in a maximum of three payments over no more than 90 days from the date of service, with one third of the total amount paid when the pet is picked up. You may also prepay for services. We cooperate with the district attorney's office to collect NSF checks that are not picked up within a few days of notification.
